Son..I love you..but.

Mama loves you dearly. However. It does not matter how you stretch and move- mamas uterus is only so big. You can't make it bigger, I promise. I would really like it if you dislodged your foot from my ribs, and got you grip off my kidney. When you come out you can wiggle and play as much as you want. But for now can we keep it down to a minimum? Thanks love. See you soon!

Now that were getting SO close, and Im prety much grounded to my house I vow to post more. I know, I know, Ive said that before. But I swear Im going to!!!

I had a dr appt yesterday and heres how it went:

Today was a fabulous day! I was anxious like I always am before ultrasounds but it was great. He totally cooperated today and we got a couple great pictures!! Ill post them below.
In actual news, his poor little head is STILL measuring 3 weeks ahead. They said at the last ultrasound that if it continued to measure ahead they would induce me early. Today my dr said that his head is 3 weeks and 2 days ahead and that yes, they are going to induce me early. He said that it was discussed between him and my regular OB- either induce 2 weeks early or do a scheduled c-section. Together they decided that they do not want whats equiv. to a 43 week + head inside my ute. That its going to put too much pressure on his head, yadda yadda yadda and it looks like were going to have a Thanksgiving baby.
Other than that, he is looking fabulous. She said he was doing his "practice breathing" during the ultrasound and they love to see that. He was opening his eyes, yawning, responding to stimuli, etc. He did great.
I am so so so in love with my son. I cant imagine how much more love I will have for him when he is born, but my heart is almost bursting with love right now!!!

I painted this wooden board to hang on his door! Its painted tan with espresso trim. The wooden letters are pale blue with royal blue designs.

A Son

We are having a boy! I cant even believe it. A son.
I cant wait to watch my son play soccer and watch Wes coach the team. He said he cant wait to coach his son. The family name gets to be carried on, but really thats one of the furthest thing from our minds. Were just happy to be having a child.
I cant wait to have my own family. To watch my husband hold my son and look at them with nothing but love and hope.
The whole world seems complete right now. I cant even imagine how its going to feel when we bring him home.

Wow, never thought that would happen

I got laid off today. Great timing right? I keep getting phone calls from the people that werent telling me "What was he thinking? Youre a great employee! Why would he let go a pregnant woman?!?!"
Got me.

I hope that this is all for the best. I have to believe that everything is going to be ok for me and my new family.
